    I’m trying to figure out how to update Kodi, didn’t know I could. I don’t know what version I have but when I go to System and to file manager I just get a blank screen! :/

      Hi Syd,

      You can check the Kodi version at “System information”.
      Same steps as “File Manager“, but instead of selecting “File Manager”, you select “System information”.
      At the bottom right you can see your Kodi version.

    Can’t seem to add file manager. Keep saying can’t reach server. I’ve tried a few. Please help. Thanks.

      The are 2 reason if you can’t reach the server :
      1 : The url (repository) does not exist anymore;
      2 : The url is incorrect

    Anyone know why file manager would open on an empty screen?

      – There probably no files anymore in that folder/url or
      – url is not correct or
      – url does not exits anymore.

    I can’t find the file manager to update my 15.1 kodi. I’ve been trying for three days!!! Can any kind kodi person out there help.

      Hi John,

      Can you tell me which version Kodi you are using now?
      Do you use the default skin?

      15.1 is a really old version. The latest stable Kodi version at the moment is 17.4.
